Labrador welcome

This morning we visited our old friends known affectionately as “the doggie people “ for coffee and chat but also to vaccinate their latest dog - an ex breeding bitch that arrived recently after being neutered.

She has settled in well with their other black Labrador and the little Border Terrier, much too small to jump up on the stable door so missing from the blip ! 

We first met one night long ago, before Mrs AMK and I were married, with their 2 dogs at that time having Strychnine poisoning seizures. Thankfully I managed with repeated visits to save both dogs and we have been friends ever since - we got our own Black Labrador from them when our children were young.

Even more thankfully Strychnine poisoning is a condition we don’t see these days .
