Heanku has explained this concept in the past but I did have to “refresh” my memory. It seems it is the custom of enjoying a coffee and a treat, but not alone. Having someone to enjoy it with is as important as the act itself. Jon typically has an afternoon coffee with cookies and occasionally I join him though I mostly will have coffee in the morning or if I want to stay awake in the evening for something special. I did join him today but only for the chat and not the treats.
