Peony

Or so I've been told. My knowledge when it comes to gardening is limited. I'm happy to defer to someone else's expertise if it isn't a Peony. Despite my lack of expertise these seem to be flourishing with several of them looking ready to burst into bloom. It seems a bit early in the year to me but then again I could be wrong on that too.

I'll post a photo when they do bloom as they are fairly striking flowers. The only downside to them is that they seem pretty delicate and being positioned right next to the front door they don't last too long with kids running in and out.
