A Fresh Coat
We are painting the house — inside, not out. Out was done a few months ago, and it needed it. Now it looks spectacular.
Inside is a touch-up job. The scuffs, scratches, blisters and marks that show after more than 10 years of living in the same place.
When I say “we”, it is not me who is doing the painting. I have painted walls in the past and enjoyed it, but I was younger and more agile then. These days, for jobs like this, we get the man in, meaning we hire a professional (and, in this case, it is a man). Where finances and inclination allow, the results are always better and more quickly achieved than if we were to do the job ourselves.
Coincidentally, I've noticed of late that when picking or composing a photo I am naturally drawn to finding circles. I am not sure what to do with this new information, except to note the fact and see if anything changes.
