"Old" Bangour

"Old" was always said with a sort of whisper, because it was a psychiatric hospital, as opposed to the one a couple of fields away. It was opened in 1904/06 and closed in 2004. There are a few lovely buildings in the grounds and it is a real shame to see them going the way they are, like this one.
It had a brief moment of fame when it was used as a location for the film The Jacket in 2005.
I shall be putting up some other pictures of the buildings here over time no doubt.
