Afternoon shadows

Another day of contrasts in the weather. The rain caught me by surprise while I was out cutting back some branches this morning.

Most of the afternoon was very wet - see extra - but then I noticed these shadows on the wall beside me as I sat playing Hearts.

Tomorrow Gill and I are heading off on a jaunt for a few days. Fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine.... pleeease!
