Strawberries & Cream

More heavy rain in the night, quite a lot in the day but occasional windswept skies of violent blue! This is the strawberry tree - its buds were blipped a while ago but now the strawberries are appearing. Way out of the reach of humans they are being enjoyed by blackbirds. Over in New Zealand they are tucking into the real thing! The other odd thing in the sunshine was that the last remaining apples were covered in flies rather than red admirals. I grabbed what I could reach.
This morning's tussle with citizenship featured taking photographs of each other. Himself behaves and comes out looking rather pleasant and normal. I hate it but I was swiftly placed against a white wall and told not to smile before I knew what was happening and only got the giggles once. Himself printed the first photo perfectly and then got distracted and forgot how he'd done it. Anyway, all is now achieved and afterwards we took ourselves off for a bracing walk!
