FIXING A HOLE

A couple of men turned up with a van this afternoon and quickly patched some potholes in the road. I wonder whether these patches will last longer than the previous ones. Since it's a cul de sac we get a lot of vehicles doing three-or-more-point turns to get out and grinding up the surface.

Meanwhile various odd jobs were being accomplished inside by someone we'd booked a month or two back. Stuff we could have done ourselves not many years ago, but no longer. There are still lots of things to be done, but we're on the way.
