And then it dived

A long and ultimately satisfying day. The drive home was surprisingly stress free. And then out for a jog. About half way into it I was struck by the shapes of the top branches of a dead tree just away from the road. Especially with the bright blue and cloudless sky.

As I was about to take my photo, a Kahu (Australasian harrier, aka Swamp harrier) glided into the frame. I was able to time the opening of the shutter to capture the image.

Feeling pleased, I watched the Kahu bank slightly and then dive out of my sight. I hope it was successful.
