Big Wheel.....

keep on turning.. although not at the moment!! This is the new attraction along Southend seafront - the Southend Eye - being built at Adventure Island..  There has been a smaller ferris wheel, you can see it to the left, there for years but the owner has decided a larger one is needed!   Was fascinating to watch them putting it together piece by piece... a real life Meccano set! 

Blustery but sunny for our little shopping trip today, and then we ended up along the seafront for an early lunch.  And a hot chocolate, with whipped cream, to soothe my sore throat which has returned with avengeance!  Joyful!
