Evening light

Still feeling unwell from the weekend stomach bug, so I was off sick today. Woke up with horrible backache, so spent most of the day trying to really rehydrate. Poor Tim came home from work at lunchtime, too - he's been feeling nauseous but hasn't actually succumbed to 'driving the porcelain bus' yet. Shortly after he came home, we discovered that the water mains work going on up the road had caused our water to become really cloudy. We spent a few hours waiting for it to run clear again (neither of us fancied risking it with our dodgy tums), then had to give in and go to Sainsbury's for some bottled water.

Anyway, this shot has nothing to do with any of that - other than it's yet another one out of our living room window. We share communal gardens with all our neighbours, but we like to call this 'our' tree - and it's so beautiful at this time of year :)
