View from Isola Bella

Spent several hours on Isola Bella - stunning gardens, fascinating history, fabulous palazzo and gorgeous views across the lake. This image is of Isola Superiore - we didn’t manage to get over to this island or indeed the other accessible one(Isola Madre) as we spent too long wandering round the palace & gardens. 
I’ve included some extras to give you a sample & provide me with reminders of it’s beauty. Highly recommend visiting if you can. 
Last extra was taken from the hotel. Not sure what event the fireworks were marking but we were quite happy to watch the spectacle on our last evening in Stresa :-))
