L of a day

Challenging period at work as one client in particular seems to be trying to get away….

It was nice to finish the day in the knowledge that tea would be cooked for us all by my mum tonight. We enjoyed a nice hour or so round there chatting about all sorts before tea.

The Youngest had a little play with some of the Build a Bear stuff my mum had acquired from some second hand place or other, but quickly found that Gucci (Bruce the dog) had taken a shine to the bear bed.

We wandered the 50 yards or so home before Simmo popped round for a catch up whilst the children watched Bake Off.

No spoilers, but they were sorry to lose their favourite baker.

A lot of life lessons being learned of late.
