Billie Jean King

I got to meet the woman, the legend, herself today. I just happened to be in the right place as she came into the arena. She was very gracious and took time to speak to me and one of the security staff, thanking us for the roles we play. She also asked me to pass on her thanks to all the volunteers. When I asked if I could take her photo she insisted I was in it too.

In other news we had an eight-ender in the Shareholders tonight. This is where a team score all eight shots in one end. Very rare and a cause for celebration, similar to a hole in one.
