Ulverston Street Art

One of the panels of a splendid mural in an old alleyway in Ulverston. It celebrates the erection in 1850 of the Hoad Monument which celebrates the life of Sir John Barrow , one of founding members of The Royal Geographical Society.
We were in Ulverston for some night orienteering but got there early to visit a shop, then did a spot of geocaching which took us to the mural, until darkness arrived.
