What a day! One friend arrived from North Carolina to avoid traveling tomorrow when we are predicted to have lots of rain and wind with the hurricane, so great to have her here to just relax and caught up with each other’s lives. Two other friends coming from Michigan and California called to cancel their trip because they were both flying in tomorrow. :(
We will get together another time but those of us here will miss them.
Major accomplishment today was making what you see in the photo: vegetable soup! We will have it for dinner tomorrow evening with some nice rolls.
