Frilly Flowers

Another glorious day today! A clear blue sky and not a cloud in sight! Beautiful. The only downside to teaching in this weather is being stuck in a classroom with 32 other bodies and windows that don't open. This flower nearly wilted in the heat.

On my way to singing tonight I went down to St Nicholas Park again to find a good shot. These flowers caught my eye. I love their frills! I do seem to be stuck on flowers and animals at the moment but they are all so interesting and colourful this time of year.

Singing was fantastic this evening. We sang in the garden and then went in once we'd got a bit cold. Lots of chat and good songs including Rhianna 'Umbrella'!
