In the kitchen this morning…….

….my two cactus plants are flowering. I’ve had them outside all summer.
The one in the large white pot is a cutting I took off my dad’s, which I’d brought here in 2009 when he had to go into residential care. It grew really big and was showing signs of decay, so I took a cutting and planted it in another pot. The old one did die off.
Here it is, still going strong.
The Tradescantia was given to me as a small cutting off another one! It, too, is thriving.
