Wet and Windy

Hurricane Nicole is dealing us a glancing blow. The storm is huge, over three hundred miles across! Thankfully it's 'only' a cat. one storm and that we live in the middle of Florida and not on the coasts! Hopefully it won't effect our travels tomorrow morning. We fly to Atlanta then to Minneapolis, Winnipeg and finally a charter plane to Churchill, MB. C & I have dreamed of seeing Polar Bears in their natural environment for decades so...finally! I'm sure that you'll understand if I don't visit your Journals for the next nine days or so... This is a shot of our backyard from our patio. All the 'yard art' and 'hangy' things were taken down in prep for the storm.
