Both weather forecasts that I looked at this morning were wrong. One showed rainfall all day (with lightning) and the other had it dry after 11 o’clock.

I was ready to go out after an early lunch but it was raining more heavily when I went to bring the empty recycling boxes in than when I put the full ones out.

By 2 o’clock it looked ok to head out. Just down the hill and along the Under Loughrigg road.

I decided to post the Swaledale sheep that posed for me in preference to the cloud covered hills.
