Strolling through the village this morning, I saw the same team working on the street-side thatch, working up from the eaves to the ridge, and they're halfway there now.  They've been at the job for over a week now, and with eight chaps doing it, you can imagine how the cost builds.

In other news, we are about to place an order for a home chargepoint for our EV.  If only I didn't have to make decisions, such as where to put it, how to keep the cost down, am I being ripped off?  That sort of thing . . .
