Despite dull weather, we combined a walk with a bike ride. There was a good selection of birds, including heron (please see extra 1) lapwings, curlews, shelducks, oyster catchers, redshanks, coots, glossy ibis and egrets, although all too distant to get a decent image. 
The main shows a small group who I thought were bird spotters, although they told me that they were digging up and replanting blackthorn. I was careful not to ask why.
