Family goodbye (2)

My side of the family today, uncle Paul (married to my auntie, mums sister). The funeral was a 2 hour drive away, so my cousin, my sister and hubby headed off early this morning.

Arrived on time. Committal first, then a celebration service at the local church. Followed by tea and coffee and a good spread at the village hall, next door to the church.

Another family gathering, auntie managed the event well, supported by her two children, their partners and my aunts 5 grandchildren. My brother and sister-in-law also attended. [so apart from our Canadian cousins (3), all the cousins were together]

Long day, but able to say our goodbyes.
