I wondered about their high oil content. And right enough if you leave them to smoulder they create a thick noxious smoke that bursts into flame with a tickle of draught.

Still and all these are two years and more old. At a pinch you could eat a lot of them. But with an abundant new crop one has to find a way to recycle.
