Crab apples?

I am not sure but l note that new buds are beginning to appear. I am going to make Christmas fig jam today, l used to make lots of jam but only this one now, made with lots of wonderful Christmas spices - to be eaten mainly with cheese.

Went to see "The Banshees of Inisherin" last evening, beautiful cinematography and the acting was superb, very Celtic, a black comedy.
