High tide

Another day that started with a brief colourful sunrise turning into dark skies.The forecast a few days ago was for a sunny morning so I was hoping to get out for an Autumn walk but it was the complete opposite. Very heavy skies and very windy. We did go out to North Kessock to get some pies for dinner and had our lunch by the bridge.Spotted a seal braving the waves.Had a drive down the road next to the Beauly Firth . Such dark skies that eventually turned to heavy rain. I nipped out and took a few photos inbetween showers. The tide was a long way in and not much room for the ducks and curlew who normally sit at the waters edge.
Back home to stay nice and cosy :)
