Deep Sea World

North Queensferry, tucked under the Forth Bridge.

We are with friends N and C (Boomerang) and having great fun. We had to go our separate ways this morning meeting at Deep Sea World at 12.00. After a quick lunch the tour began, the colourful coral was a highlight as was the sea horse tank. The staff were informative and very easy going, always happy to talk.

To reach the place involved crossing the new bridge to N Queensferry, a good experience, passing the original Forth Bridge for trains and wondering what will become of the one in the middle, (we could see people working on it). We crossed it four times, there and back twice). (J and I arrived at DSW early and looked up the nearest Tesco, it was in S Queens ferry, we had time to shoot back over the bridge). After the tour we headed back to the campsite.

Leaving just before 6.00 pm the four of us did the 10 minute walk to the main road to take a bus, number 11, into the city. We had a table booked for a super duper meal at No 1, near Waverley station, it was innovative and great fun. Most enjoyable. An early Christmas present.
