only one more season

Despite the reply to the request made to the allotment people man for a swap to one of the three plots within a mile of the house (not that we knew where we were going to move to three years ago today when we first applied for a plot about eleven years ago) suggesting that movement might take place sometime next year I would be inclined to not expect any movement to take place and to make the most of the plot we already have which is a mere (and pleasingly exactly) two miles from the house, which is still looking reasonably more kempt even after a couple of weeks of weed-reinstatement, though the effort required to uproot them is noticeably greater than it was on the first visit of the year now that they've had lot more heat and light to use for growth.
