Wind the clock back....

....thirty years. Owen enjoyed runny egg, chips and a strawberry milkshake at the Leith Walk Cafe. The whole experience conjured up memories of childhood visits to greasy spoons for cheap grilled and fried food; you wouldn't eat it every day.

Our reason for being around the Foot of the Walk was a visit to the Cat Protection League. It was fruitful in terms of information gathering and we met a delightfully eccentric veterinary nurse who exhibited some cat-like behaviours....very strange young woman.
