Oh, the Glory!
And it all goes by so fast.
Wishing a victory for Katie Porter, and a few others with their heads on straight.
I was horrified to learn my brother Ken, who summers up here in Oregon, and winters in Palm Desert (and hadn't been back down there very long), was bitten by a Black Widow spider, that had probably been living in his garage where Ken had been doing a lot of organizing. It bit him Wednesday afternoon, he had an immediate reaction of pain and stomach cramps, and spent nearly 24 hours in ER. They couldn't get him to rest, he wouldn't stay in bed, was in great pain, even the morphine didn't help, racing heart, very poor balance. His wife didn't sleep all night either, trying to help him calm down. They went home in the morning, exhausted, with Ken still very agitated. Criminy sakes. New meds have been kicking in and I hope to learn they both slept last night. Their San Diego son is there with them. Scary, indeed.
