Autumn leaves

The last few leaves are hanging on to our cherry tree, not ready to drop just yet. My gardeners came this morning with their blower and cleared away leaves from the grass and the flower beds and it all looks very tidy, for the moment! They get a lot done in the forty minutes they are with us.
We are meeting J and M at a pub near Guildford this evening for a meal and a chat. It is a pub we haven’t been to before, so I looked it up on line. It looks good, and I have scanned the menu and chosen my meal already!
