Walk in the Woods

After working in the morning, I met my friend Isa for a walk in the Taunus hills, near the little spa town Bad Schwalbach. 

At home in the Rhine valley, the thick fog never lifted all day, in chilly 7 degrees C. But up in the hills, blue sky and sunshine awaited us, and it was a few degrees warmer, too. A typical inversion, which means we probably won’t see any sun all weekend - at least not here in the valley.
