Cafe Nero

For those of you that have been kind enough to follow my ramblings on Blip over the years you will possibly remember that Cafe Nero was the coffee shop of choice back in the day.  Its popularity with us fell off somewhat during the pandemic and since we've been in Worcester we haven't visited either of the Cafe Nero branches in the city as we explore pastures (and coffee shops) anew.

That changed today. I was tempted by an offer from my phone service provider, any drink, hot or cold, for £1 once a week from Cafe Nero.  The QR code changes at midnight each Sunday.  Well in these days of inflation and impending recession an offer like that cannot be ignored.  I'm not sure how long the offer goes on for, but it certainly worked today.  And the coffee was good, we both agreed and wondered why we had ignored Nero for so long.

In other news: Ann was out seeing a friend this morning so I prepared and cooked a tofu,  aubergine and cauliflower curry which we're going to have for tea.
