Warm and Sunny

Everything is relative so those of you living in different parts of the world may not think 11°C is particularly warm. However, for us it is very unusual in November.
It's also very welcome as there are always jobs left to do. The pea vines needed to be pulled down, the goji berry bushes cut back and the blackberry canes pruned and supported so the snow doesn't break them. The water butts were emptied and various pots put away in the dry. All that and a few other small bits and pieces were done before it really got dark.
We were both feeling fairly tired by then and after a while realised the previous day's flu jab was slowing us down. The evening has now been spent in fairly laid back fashion!
