The new combined GP practice, with Starbucks

I just need to say, this is NOT the practice I work for. I hope I will never work for a practice that has a coffee shop on the ground floor, and no level access for patients (edit: unless I'm wrong about this, and I really hope I am).

Two GP practices in Stroud are merging, and their new premises will be the old Woolworths building, with access  via a lift from the roof level car park or up some stairs at the side. I am a patient at one of those surgeries, but I rarely visit my GP and I have no walking difficulties. I am immensely cross on behalf of those who do. And Starbucks? Yeah, that's so, like, healthy and not-for-profit...

I have in the past taken some more artistic shots of this building, from inside another chain coffee shop, but this was rush hour and it was growing dark, so what you see was shot between passing cars.

The good news is that when one of the practices moves out of our monolithic block, there will be more room for us, and we won't have to work in an office the size of a large toilet. The 1970s building won't be any lovelier, but there'll be more space.
