Wasn't really sure that I'd be working today with the sound of rain hammering down as the alarm went off but it had moderated by the time I started, anyway it was a good baptism for my new wellies.

The photo is a hog weed seed head growing at the rear of the cottage I look after in Houghton. 

I did leave that job slightly earlier than planned, I could see some heavy rain approaching and didn't really want to end the day with wet clothing.
