Shadow Dance

Hanging from a thread, no...a cobweb.

And, if I am honest, not dancing. He/she/they assumed a defensive posture when my camera got too close. And was gone, when I checked later this morning.

I don’t mind spiders, except when they get too big, hairy and venomous (I’m looking at you, Australia). 

We watched The Capture the other week and there was a scene where one detective says to another after seeing a rat: “You know, you’re never more than six feet from one.”

Apparently, that’s an urban myth. But the other detective responded: “I think you may be thinking of spiders.”

That may be true, apparently. And it’s 3 feet, not 6.
