Human Clock?! At ISG

First Graders Learning to Tell Time:

We made a giant clock on our classroom floor today in First Grade Purple. The kids LOVED it. Our favorite part was using our own bodies to tell time! The children were given a specific time that they had to show using their arms as the Short Hand (hour hand) and their legs as the Big Hand (minute hand). In this photo, Sofia Marie was showing 2:30 on our Human Clock. This, in a "pun intended" way takes "Hands- on" teaching to a higher level.
