Hikers at the High Point

Hikers...HA! It was perhaps 25 yards from our parking spot to the high point of Ohio. It is located at a vocational school called Hi-point Academy.

Out of the 50 states, Al and Shelley now have been to the high point of 24 states. They got to "bag" this one, but I didn't. I had already been here before. I'm not sure what mine and Lisa's total is, but I'm guessing about 5 less.

After conquering the point, we went out of our way to see a red round barn, and then had our first time ever lunch at Raising Cane's, a chicken place. They had a very limited menu. Chicken fingers, french fries, cole slaw, a chicken sandwich, and Texas toast.  That's it. It was very good, and we'll be looking for another of the 656 U.S. franchises in the future.

We got home about 5:30 p.m., in plenty of time to watch The Tournament of Champions on Jeopardy.

It was a great 3 days.
