Interesting Day

The botanical garden folks had a meeting with our new attorneys this morning, sorting out some of the murk around land acquisition. Amazing guys, these two - fabulous experience in complex land deals. 2 1/2 hours flew by!

Then I stopped at my son's house to say hi to the grandchildren. We played around for a while and had a great time. I did a quick stop at the grocery store for cupcakes for my grandson's 5th birthday tomorrow and then home. It's now dark, cold and rainy! Brr!! 

But I had the foresight to take a shot of the Japanese Maple in our driveway - it's a stunning color this fall - different than other years. In fact, the color of the deciduous trees this year is fabulous!
