Rose-breasted grosbeak

Yesterday was the quintessential spring day, couldn't have been better...or so I thought. Then along came today! This striking grosbeak must have been as delighted as I was with the beauty of the warm weather and sunshine because he posed for me for many minutes, allowing me to move closer and closer to capture his handsomeness in this portrait.

The second cataract surgery is tomorrow morning. I will need a blip for tomorrow that doesn't necessitate a walk in the park because I'll have to take it easy when I get home. Hopefully something or someone will show up at my door, wanting to be blipped.
