Still life

We had a still life evening at the camera club. The first time the club had tried one, so no one really knew what to expect. I turned up with studio lights, backgrounds etc, as did some others - and we had a great evening.

This set up was lit with tungsten lights, and the gorgeous background was a hand painted canvas - a really lovely one. I set the flowers on the right side, as the light was that side, and I thought I'd benefit from the shadow of the flowers on the background - I think it helped to break up the area.
