Buzz Cut Kit

I had a busy day that was full of somewhat unusual images. I cooked a rabbit for my supper, looked at a few houses to estimate jobs, played footsie with Laura Earle, and I even tidied up around the house to be ready for an overnight guest.

Nothing I saw today caught my attention like this fancy-looking boy, the coolest cat on Beaumont Avenue. His owner is an old customer of mine, and she said this fellow needed his shave partly due to matted hair. The groomer had nicked the cat slightly, but he was purrfectly content and seemed to enjoy the cool air.

This long-haired buzz-cutted kitty stole the show in a neighborhood full of little spectacles.
