On the Gold Coast

I have lots to catch up on here but thought I’d better get a head start before next week gets really busy.

Martin and I have come away for a few days down to the Gold Coast to celebrate our 30th anniversary which is tomorrow.

The drive down took a bit longer as there was a bit of congestion, but we are thrilled to be here and have walked around Surfer’s twice already.

Seen lots of Asian people and had good Chinese for dinner in a restaurant that actually was a Hong Kong restaurant with Hong Kong districts and street names inside!!! and we have realised how much we’ve missed being in a “big” city. So many crowds, and busy-ness, hustle and bustle … the Sunshine Coast is soooo laid back compared to all this.

Loving the escape and doing something different ….
