Bling!

We visited the Grand Palace complex this morning, home to the Chapel of the Emerald Buddha and many many other beautifully ornate buildings. The mosaic and art work on the buildings was stunning - too much to take in really, but beautiful nevertheless.
Still suffering a bit from jet lag, the afternoon involved another nap. Our evening dinner cruise was disappointing - the water was too high for us to cruise up past the temples and .. the boat suffered a power cut. We spent most of the evening moored upriver- but at least they managed to get lights and aircon back on.
