It's that time of year
Stand by for the vine blips.
We went over to Sue's this morning for what we thought was coffee but turned out to be a full cooked breakfast. We partook sparingly since we had booked to go out for lunch in Montlaur. S had intended to cycle there, but we spent so long chatting with Sue's remaining British guests that he had to come with me in the car.
We ended up having a light lunch of a few tapas, dessert, coffee, along with a mystery bottle of wine. Aurélien doesn't have a wine list; he quizzes you about what kind of wine you like and then brings you a bottle he thinks you will enjoy. We had a nice local white from Caunes-Minervois.
Back home, and since the early clouds were gone I headed out on a quick blip hunt. Now the fire is lit and we're ready for a quiet evening in.
