Makes a change from 'School Run'

Tonight, Saturday night, is Church Run to take Betty, otherwise known as F.M.i.L. to St Peter's RC Church, in Gloucester. Photo taken just as we'd exited the car to go into church.
She, and F.F.i.L. have been attending this church since they were posted to RAF Innsworth, from Germany, in 1968 or 69.
It's pretty awful then to think she doesn't remember it now, although the only time she hasn't attended was during the lockdown when churches were closed to the public. 
When we pulled up in the car park she asked where we were but we'd already had the conversation, about where we were going, 3 or 4 times on the 3 mile journey there.
Dementia / Alzheimer's is the saddest disease, and we must just try to remember the person that they were, not as they are now.
