Bomber crew

We went to Wellesbourne airfield  near Warwick, where Timeline  Events were running a special photography event  of the Vulcan bomber with "re enactors" in appropriate flying costume.
We were there from midday because we met Rich and Jenny  and Arthur and Jack there for lunch where Arthur enjoyed watching the small planes taking off and landing. It’s very close to where they live.
Then we went to join the group with Steveng among them and spent a few hours taking pictures of the Vulcan bomber which is housed there. You can read about the volunteers who keep it maintained in this link.
It had a bit of a mishap a few weeks ago.
It was more dramatic after dark when it was lit up . We were hoping for a lovely sunset as a backdrop but the sky was very clear so it wasn't as colourful as it might have been, but we were lucky, it was dry not too windy and mild for November.
