Mermaids in Bournemouth

Our friends had a two hour run from London, pretty good. Arrived at just after midday Went for a walk on the pier, and into town and a coffee. Saw an assortment of youngsters dressed as mermaids and other animals. Later read there was a demo by climate demonstrators in town.

Warm for November, and sunny. Several groups of people swimming in the sea, even lasses in bikinis!

Then ‘D’, age 5, had homework to finish, so they went back to the hotel. We had a rest at home.

Met up again and 6pm and had a vegan burger meal at Might Wiener, up by the Triangle. Enjoyed by all, except of course my beloved :(

Back home and early night
