Crocus laevigatus

Just when you'd think it's all over for the autumn crocuses, there's a new kid on the block!   There are a few in flower in the greenhouse and cold frames but these have just appeared out in the garden along with a few others.   This form is usually the last to appear, I've had it in flower at Christmas but the mild weather has hurried them on.  There are more buds below, they'll last the month out most likely.

A quiet day needed.  A quiet day had.  Lie in, laundry, lunch.  A walk round the lanes with Meg.  Siesta, tea with R & J.  Telly.  Bed
